EOS 20D comes to replace the famous EOS 10D and it has the same DIGIC II processor as the professional Canon EOS-1D Mark II. The second generation DIGIC chip increases the already brilliant performance of the camera: exceptional clarity and tonal range, and noise reduction circuits to improve performance at high ISOs, and optimized photodiode configurations for improved performance at all ISOs. The processor allows to obtain precise, natural colors, and spot-on white balance in any number of lighting situations.

The second-generation DIGIC II chip with an increased buffer memory size allows for serial shooting at impressive 5 fps up to 23 frames which is nearly twice the speed of the EOS 10D and is ideal for shooting dynamic scenes and natural objects. JPEG and RAW files can be recorded simultaneously with no compromise on the image quality.
